I feel that this time we recorded a few really authentic tracks... With outstanding artists, who have been part of my musical identity for the past few years. I feel great joy and wish you pleasant, undisturbed cross-country skiing across the lands of sounds.

The cover is by talented Slovak photographer Katarína Selecká.

"A gradual move into other waters is the three-part "suite" EVOL (love on the contrary?), where the clarinetist himself is the author of the concept and initially lets his instrument lyrically declaim fragments of forgotten melodies in the most delicate pianissimas amid ambient noises and glitch crackling. But the drama is never far enough away; Dugovič explores the possibilities of interaction of the clarinet sound with the world of electronics, live or non-live. Effects, layering or broken beats reveal his inclinations towards "club alternative" and also a considerable degree of resonance with the nature and ideas of Eddie Stevens. Jana Kirschner's producer and life partner brought here a dose of that island creative craziness, which seems extremely fresh in our region. In the second part of the suite, he accompanies Dugović on the piano with a characteristically nostalgic, "rusty" tinged sound and inevitably evokes memories of iconic albums by Radiohead or Muse from the turn of the century. The third part, the longest track of the album, also goes in this direction, at the moment when the "crunchy" groove of the bass clarinet starts, and by adding layers, effects and hypnotic repetition, the listener is drawn into an escalating psychedelic spiral. And the clarinetist does not deny his fondness for improvisation, which allows itself not to be purely non-idiomatic. It is "tainted" in a great way by flirting with jazz or funk. The fresh wind from the British Isles also blows in The Maze by Eddie Stevens. The "maze" created from the endless layering of clarinet and bass clarinet loops (the tonal range when connecting both boldly competes with electronic keyboard instruments and connects very well with them from the sound side as well) is the unraveling of a repeating sequence of four chords. The Maze again strongly evokes the harmonious world of British rock alternative, and once again its course goes beyond the levels of psychedelia and bizarrely life-giving craziness. When the wails of male voices are added, it's as if one were watching slow-motion footage - for example, of astronauts disappearing into the bowels of black holes. And finally, everything actually takes place in slow motion, the blurred harmonic sequence has a literally hallucinogenic effect. It is technically masterfully mastered and extraordinarily entertaining. There is exactly what I love about the music of the British scene - both rock and contemporary - a spirit of refreshing freedom and at times almost childish playfulness."
